Niu-Kiwi Project

This project was designed as a response to the unique identity of young New Zealand-born Tongans and draws inspiration from theology and theologising, specifically the framework of Niu-Kiwi Theology. This theology evolves from the foundations of Contextual Theology, aiming to create an inclusive space that fosters an understanding and appreciation of the values and cultures of both Tonga and New Zealand. By immersing participants in language, culture, and the way of doing things, this programme aspires to empower young people to navigate and embrace their dual cultural heritage.
